Bio diesel free

You Can Use Biodoesel Free

I know you're thinking about Biodiesel or you wouldn't be reading this.  You already know what it's made out of and are probably trying to decide whether or not you should switch from straight diesel to Biodiesel.

If Biodiesel was free, would that change your mind or make it up for you?  I thought so.  I'm going to tell you how you can get Biodiesel free.

As you know, bio diesel is made up of used vegetable oils and diesel fuel.  For the most part, they used vegetable oils are free.  So the problem is, how do you get the diesel portion for nothing?

The secret here is that you don't have to use diesel.  Furnace oil works just as well, or stove oil. From here I will call this fuel oil.

Where do you get furnace oil free,?  Or where can you get free stove oil?

Try looking on Craigslist.  There are lot of people who have furnace oil tanks in their yards or under the ground in their yards and converted to natural gas and have to get rid of the oil tank.  What you can do is place an advertisement on craigslist saying you will empty the oil tank for them free.  Or maybe you can charge and $.10 a gallon to take it away!  You can also advertise that you will empty their stove oil tanks for $.10 a gallon. See what the market is like and set your price accordingly.

All you need is a tank in the back of your pickup truck and a pump and hose, and three clean containers to hold the fuel oil and you're set.

What you should do is when you go to pick up the oil, don't worry about whether it's contaminated, is old, or has water in it. Unless you can see thjat the tank has filled with water and has only 25% fuel oil in it.  Just take it away. Be sure you have some of those oil absorbing pads with you and make sure you don't leave a mess.  This is very important, you have to do the job thoroughly and without any spills.  Fill up your tank, thank the homeowner, and leave.

You will need three clean containers to do the job properly.  Once you get home into the tank into a clean new container and let it settle for a least a week.  Two weeks of its cold out.  Now you can drain off the clean top portion of the fuel oil into another clean container.  Once you have the fuel in this container, you might want to let it settle overnight and then pump it through a filter into the third container.  And this is what you will use to dilute your vegtable oil to make bio diesel.

I generally go for a 50% vegetable oil.  50% fuel oil mix and find it works well.  What I do is dump the fuel oil into the vegetable oil, stir thoroughly and then run it through another filter before I put it into my truck. This is a good year round mix. In cold (below zero) weather you would want to use 25% veggie - 75% fuel oil.
